Red Cross Connection app and microsite were given a much need facelift in 2015 along with key improvements and optimisations. 


With youths as our main target audience, the art direction chosen reflected an on trend semi-flat design with social media sharing capabilities to create a network of live savers from the user's friend pool.

The colour and artwork selection showcases a fun and easy to use app without being too clinical. 

In addition to the UI's facelift, we added a gamification feature of allowing users to "level up" as they donate and share.


The Red Cross Connection allows users to:

  • Track contributions, lives saved and shares
  • Locate the nearest donation centre
  • Check-in at the centre to inspire  friends to answer the call
  • Receive invitations to Red Cross donation drives and events
